Unclaimed Child Support Check Search

The Clerk’s Office may be holding undeliverable checks for you. As part of its legal duties, the Clerk’s Office receives payments from Child Support obligors and disburses the money to Child Support recipients. For various reasons, the US Postal Service sometimes returns, as undeliverable, Child Support checks issued and mailed by the Clerk’s Office.

For example, the recipient moved without properly notifying the Clerk’s Office of her/his new mailing address. Use this Search to determine if the Clerk’s Office may be holding unclaimed Child Support checks for you. If you find your name on the list, see “How to claim a check” section to the right.
