The Clerk’s Office may be holding undeliverable checks for you. As part of its legal duties, the Clerk’s Office receives payments from Mortgage Foreclosure obligors and disburses the money to recipients. For various reasons, the US Postal Service sometimes returns, as undeliverable, Mortgage Foreclosure Surplus checks issued and mailed by the Clerk’s Office.
